Huairou Science City × China Film Group Studios × Tsinghua University

From April , EcoBay Alliance and China Macao Federation of Youth Culture jointly
organised a Beijing study tour for young people from the Greater Bay Area. The group
visited Huairou Science City, the China Film Group Huairou Studios, and Tsinghua
University, gaining a closer look at China's development in science and technology, the
creative industries, and higher education.
Huairou Science City
The delegation's first stop was Huairou Science City, where they visited the exhibition hall
of the Beijing Huairou Comprehensive National Science Centre. The displays covered the
development of major national science and technology infrastructure, as well as talent
development initiatives — giving the students a more concrete understanding of the
country's science and technology priorities. The group took a photo together in the
exhibition hall, with the centre's large display screen as the backdrop.
China Film Group Huairou Studios
The group then visited the China Film Group Huairou Studios, learning about the
production process of China's film industry and the broader development of the creative
economy. The visit gave students a different angle on how cultural industries contribute to
national development.
Tsinghua University
The final stop was Tsinghua University. The delegation toured the campus and took a group
photo in front of the iconic Second Gate. Tsinghua's research strengths in science,
engineering, and environmental studies are closely aligned with EcoBay Alliance's focus
on green technology, and the visit gave students a useful reference point for their own
academic and career planning.
A Note from CEO Samuel Tang
"Seeing the scale of the scientific facilities at Huairou Science City and the academic
environment at Tsinghua University gave our students a direct sense of the country's
development. The support China offers to young people creates real opportunities for
Greater Bay Area youth. I hope EcoBay Alliance can continue to facilitate exchange
and collaboration between young people in Beijing, Macao, and the wider GBA — in green
technology, the creative industries, and beyond — so that they can play a part in the
nation's development."

This study tour was jointly organized by EcoBay Alliance and China Macao Federation of
Youth Culture, with young participants. EcoBay Alliance will continue to organize
youth exchange activities to strengthen connections between Greater Bay Area youth and
the Mainland.
