Youth Sustainable Innovation and Technology Competition

Dear Principal and Educators,

The China Macao Federation of Youth Culture, EcoBay Alliance, and the Macao Carbon Exchange cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in the "International Youth Sustainable Innovation and Technology Competition," an event that brings together innovative thinking and advances sustainable development.

Background and Mission

EcoBay Alliance is jointly established by the Macao Institute of Environmentalists and The Endeavour Environmental Education Foundation (ENEEF) from Hong Kong, dedicated to promoting sustainable development in the Greater Bay Area, particularly in circular economy development and dual-carbon economy education. To fulfill this mission, EcoBay Alliance, the China Macao Federation of Youth Culture, and the Macao Carbon Exchange jointly organize this competition, with support from government departments including the Macao Education and Youth Development Bureau, Macao Investment and Development Bureau, and Environmental Protection Bureau, as well as institutions in Hong Kong and Macao such as Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Macao Science Center.

This competition focuses on sustainable development, circular economy, and dual-carbon economy, aligning with Macao's "1+4" economic diversification strategy and the national green new productive forces development strategy. It is open to university students, youth groups, entrepreneurial teams globally, as well as secondary school students from Hong Kong, Macao, and the Greater Bay Area.

Competition Objectives

•Enhance students' understanding and practical capabilities regarding Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), circular and dual-carbon economy, and green finance

•Encourage students to demonstrate innovative thinking and propose practical and impactful technological solutions

•Promote cross-regional and interdisciplinary student exchange and collaboration to jointly address environmental challenges

•Target recruitment of 50 project teams from different regions
